Agenda ISM

Targeting Microbiota 2022 Welcome Note

On behalf of the International Society of Microbiota, we are pleased to inform you that its 9th Annual World Meeting on Targeting Microbiota will be held on October 19-21, 2022, in Paris, France and online.

During Targeting Microbiota 2022, we will discuss the following topics:

  • Microbiota & Microbiota Dysbiosis in Diseases: Recent Advances
  • Nutrition, Water and Microbiota: The Missing Links
  • Immunotherapy, Antibiotic Resistance, Cancer & Microbiota: Towards Personalized Medicine
  • Strategies, Innovations & Challenges to Target Microbiota Dysbiosis

Among the other hot topics that will be covered: Oral microbiota, vaginal microbiota, microbiota biofilms, retinal disorders, respiratory infections, arterial thrombosis, ischemic stroke, ageing, circadian system, depression, FMT, multi-omics, gene editing, precision medicine, cancer immunotherapy, mineral water, Mediterranean diet, weight loss.

The workshop on Gut Microbiota will be held on the first day, October 19, by Dr. Carole Nicco. The workshop will be online recorded, and Dr. Nicco will answer to all your questions live at the end of the workshop.

I do believe that this would be the best future strategy for the 9th World Congress of Targeting Microbiota in 2022: a strong communication between basic, pre-clinical scientists and clinicians.

So, I hope to meet you this October to capture moments of conviviality and scientific inspiration by the many and best scientists we have in the world studying the various aspects of the microbiota.

All our warmest regards.
