The microbiome-to-host communication affecting pregnancy and fetal growth in early postnatal life

In his lecture presented durting the 2nd World Congress on Targeting Microbiota, which will be held at Pasteur Institute on October 16-17, 2014, Pr Sven Petterson will present some of  their recent findings on the maternal microbiome affecting placenta development and function and its possible implications to handle stress later in life. 

In addition, Pr Petterson will  also present some new data on microbiome mediated mechanims regulating ketonbody production through a novel transcription factor expressed in the liver.
